Hello SCC Kids,

Can you believe it's August already? Summer break seemed to fly by! Most of you are starting school this week. This year looks a little different than years in the past. Most of us are starting school online. Maybe this makes you a little nervous, maybe you're starting a new school and you feel nervous about that. Whatever you may be feeling I am here to say, You are going to do great things!!! I know this, because I know God has a special plan for each one of you. God knows everything about you and he loves you so much! So go out there, do your best and be BRAVE! You've got this, because God's got this! 

This week I am joined by my special co-host, Mr. Dann. We are beginning our new series title, you guessed it, BRAVE. We are learning about King David and how God chose him for this very special job. Did you know David was a young shepherd boy and the youngest of his brothers? It's true. He's definitely not who any of the people would have chosen to be king, but God knew he was perfect. God knows the perfect path for you as well!

Since everyone is busy getting ready for school to started I decided to push our July zoom party back a week but I hope to see you all this weekend. That means you also have one extra week to work on July's memory verse, Ephesians 3:20. I can't wait to hear how everyone's first week of school went! I miss you all so much. I love you and God loves you too. Have an awesome first week of school! I'll be praying for you!
