C-Eve Updates

I wanted to give you guys some quick updates on Family to Family and Christmas Eve while correcting some miscommunication on our part.

First, for Family to Family. If you are putting together food boxes, the info is available at this link. If you can drop yours off this weekend, it would be appreciated! We will be bringing the 10 boxes to Imagine Prep on Tuesday. If not, that is okay! Be sure to fill one and bring it to the food bank on Christmas Eve.

Second, we will be meeting at Valley View Food Bank’s Sun City location, 10771 W. Peoria Ave, Sun City AZ, 85351 on Christmas Eve from 11-3. I apologize for the miscommunication on that front, I know we had said El Mirage, but that location is not being used for the event. We would love to have you come help pass out boxes and toys on Christmas Eve. Also, remember we will be having a special digital service at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve for you to enjoy as a family. That will stream at the normal location, live.surprise.church.

Thirdly, the children’s and youth ministry are going to be putting on a Christmas scavenger hunt Friday, December 18th. The hunt will begin at the church building, 16630 W Greenway Road Suite 110-113, Surprise AZ, 85388. We are inviting you to get together with your family and participate in this scavenger hunt! We will be giving you a checklist of items to be looking for and a map with each location along the path. You will get a new hint at each location, taking you to the next stop. Along the way, you will get various Christmas themed prizes. It is going to be a great time and Bri and I are definitely planning on participating!

All this info will be updated on the website shortly, and a link to a Christmas Eve page will be posted on our social media on Friday.

I hope you are excited for a great Christmas season and you are staying safe. I am praying for you all, see you soon!
