We Are Open!
I ask "When will it be enough Abba, Father?" - He responds "My Son, I AM enough".
This has been my walk with God over the last year (and change) of a building process and nearly two years of wandering in the wilderness.
I have said that prayer in tears, in anger, in frustration, in exhaustion, in saying "I've had enough"! So many times I've uttered those same words "When will it be enough Abba, Father?" Through all my tantrums and fits God has just kept saying to me over and over "My Son, I AM enough".
Through all of it, He has been faithful. He has never let go.
Yet, at the end of every season is a new one.
Every spring turns to summer, every summer turns to fall, every fall to winter, and, yes, every winter turns to spring eventually. What a cold, bitter winter it has been, but now we see that spring is coming.
The end of season brings a new one! I am glad to say, the season of live-stream only, building frustration, setback nightmare is officially over. We passed our final inspections and have our certificate of occupancy!
We are gathering to celebrate, 9:30 and 11:00 this Sunday!
This is an amazing moment were we get to see the fullness of God's provision, God's deliverance, and His Faithfulness to us as a church. Words can't describe the feeling of thankfulness I have! So we are going to thank the Lord.
But this is not an end, it is one season changing to another.
At the end of the Psalms (Which Y'all know I love oh so much), the Psalmist gives this beautiful poem
"Hallelujah! Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his mighty expanse. Praise him for his powerful acts; praise him for his abundant greatness. Praise him with the blast of a ram's horn; praise him with harp and lyre. Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and flute. Praise him with resounding cymbals; praise him with clashing cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Hallelujah!" -Psalm 150 CSB
This is the perfect ending to the Psalms. Because it is not just an end but a new beginning. It points to that ultimate reality, when the world of fear has faded, this is what we will do! The end of all things is worship, we worship the God who never ends.
Just read the book of Revelation and you will see over and over and over again, worship. Worship forever. In and out of every season we must worship!
So we, at the end of our exodus, will worship. WE WILL PRAISE THE LORD. For He has been oh so good to us. I hope you will join me this Sunday to praise the King of every season, Jesus our Lord.
Grace and Peace to you.
Sincerely,
Drew Carroll
