Elementary September Week 2 - God Can Be Trusted

Posted: 9/12/2020

Hello SCC Kids!

I had so much fun at our elementary zoom party last weekend! For those of you who could make it, I hope you had a great time! Congratulations to all of our monthly drawing prize winners, they will each be receiving an amazon gift card. If you weren't able to make it this month, don't worry! We'll have another one in a few weeks so mark your calendars and practice those memory verses!

We were able to talk about ideas for the new church building and our classrooms! Keep those creative ideas coming, I love to hear them! Parents, we are still looking for volunteers to be on our parent panel. What would you like to see in our classrooms? You can share your ideas and sign up for the parent panel by emailing me at brandy.luptak@surprise.church or sending me a text. I look forward to hearing from you!

This week, Mr. Dann is here to introduce us to week 2 of our Wise series. We continue to talk about wise King Solomon. God promised that Solomon would be able to build a special temple to hold the ark of the covenant, which holds the tablets with the 10 commandments. God fulfills his promise and everyone sees that God Can Be Trusted. Sometimes it is hard to trust people, or even to trust God. When we have doubts about trust, we can look back on this story and remember that God can always be trusted.

If you are experiencing some doubt or distrust in your life and would like to talk and pray about it, contact me any time! I'm always here for you. For those of you returning to school in person, know that we are praying for you and that we can trust God to take good care of you! Have a blessed week SCC Kids! I love you and God loves you too!

Love,

Ms. Brandy
